Well, I'm currently blogging from the school computer lab, and I've decided that I don't like the keyboards they use here. Keys are far too stiff for my tastes. Oh well, not much I can do about it at the moment 'cause there's no internet access in the apartment yet.
Still have to buy textbooks and do loan stuff so I can pay my tuition and stuff. Bleh. I also have to get a job so I can pay for food and housing and the basic event called living. Things will work out somehow, it's just kinda stressful at the moment.
In other words, you probably should have figured out that I've managed to get to school safely and haven't killed anybody yet. Lots of stuff that needs to be done still, so I'm gonna go away now. Won't have access to internet stuffage again until Tuesday when classes start.

Well, I made it to Utah okay. Currently using my Grandma's computer to check my email and blog a bit. Doubt that I'm going to be online much (if at all) in the next few days, mainly because 1) My Grandma doesn't have many hours per month on her AOL and 2) I have to spend most of the time going through my stuff figuring out just what I need down at the apartment and what can wait a few days. Not to mention dial-up is really flippin' slow. However, beggars can't be choosers, and I'm just glad I have a way to be able to check my email.
I'm currently really hoping that my roommate got the email I sent her, because if she didn't then there could be problems on Thursday. Ah well, things will work out somehow.
Don't know when I'll have your new layout done, but hopefully it'll be before school starts (aka September 3). We'll just have to see. There's a lot that has to happen in the next few days.

Well, thingy. I leave for school tomorrow and I'm still not entirely packed yet. *dies* I hope I can fit the stuff that I need (or the stuff I think I need, at any rate) into my suitcase and box. I really don't want to have to ship things out, or wait until my mom comes out to Utah at the end of September unless it's absolutely unavoidable.
Therefore, this is a short entry because I still have to finish de-disastering the living room (aka place where all my stuff was dumped), take a shower, and attempt to get some form of sleep tonight. Bleh. I also don't know how much I'll have in the way of internet access for the next few weeks....have to hook up the apartment before we all go nutso from lack of download ability.

Yay, entry at a relatively early time! Anyway...lots of things are changing, will change soon, or have changed in the past few days.
First of all, I finally got off my duff and did something about my main collective layout. You can see the new layout here. Comments and suggestions are more than welcome. I'm quite pleased with how it came out, especially seeing as it's my first real venture into the wonderful world of frames.
Secondly, I'm attempting (not exactly completely successful yet) to get to bed a bit earlier. I have to get ready for school, and it's better to start early and work down than to do things abruptly. Dad just reminded me that it's "freaking bedtime you freaks" so I'm guessing he wants me in bed. Well, all of us kids in bed, but I'm down here in front of the computer and he was going upstairs when he said it. Anyway....
I'm more or less done going through my bins of stuff. Now I need to tackle the book shelves, at least a little bit before I go to school at any rate. Some of the stuff will be going out with me, but a lot of it will probably be staying out here. I need to go through everything to make sure I know what I need to bring back to school with me. I've been making a list all summer of the things I left at school that I've wanted....
Hopefully I'll have your layout finished before I get back to school, but I don't know if I should make any promises on that at the moment. So much to do....
I think I should go to bed now. I'm feeling tired. Oyasumi -.-

Ahh, the time moves ever closer when I return to school. At least I got hours at work this week....*grumbles about managers for a bit*
I still have a lot of things I need to get done before I head back to school, and I'm starting to wonder if I'll be able to accomplish them all. If I work really really hard I should be able to get most of it done, I think.
Today was more or less a laze around day, unfortunately. Well, it's unfortunate in the fact that I have so much I need to do and that I should be doing that, not that I didn't have fun lazing around....I did go to work, and that was an interesting experience, to say the least.
Main thing that happened today was that I finished watching Onegai Teacher. It's cute, but definitely brain candy. Fun little love story with a hefty dose of comedy that fades toward the end. Some things were well explained, but there were a lot of things that were left very open. I still had questions at the end, and my brain got a bit sugar coated. Still, I had fun watching it and I recommend the series to anybody looking for a very light-hearted love story.
Thankfully, I managed to destroy the 'I wanna watch dubbed anime' demon that was somehow lurking in my head for the past little while. Well, maybe I didn't completely destroy it, but it's quiet now, at least. I think it just wanted anime. We'll know in a few days, I suppose.
Next Friday Masters of the Universe will be on Cartoon Network! Yes, this has me psyched and it probably seems really silly, but I really really like He-man. He's one of my heroes. I mean, seriously. I wanted to be He-man when I was younger. Of course, there is a bit of a gender difficulty in that....anywho. I'm psyched, it gives me something to look forward to, and you'd better believe that I'm going to be taping it!

Well, I somehow managed to get almost eleven hours of sleep last night. It was a very strange occurence, to say the least. I still feel kinda weird...I think it's called being rested. ^_^;;
Still have to work on my homework, especially seeing as I'm not going to get much of anything done over the next three days, even if I do bring my books with me to Otakon. Ah well.
Have to do my laundry too. Clean clothes are very good. Hopefully I'll be able to get all this stuff done today, because I plan to go to bed early tonight. I mean....have to wake up at four in the morning or something like that to get to the airport on time. Yeah. Sleep is a good thing.
On another note....I think you will be hiding in your room for a very long time if you wait until all the stupid people on the world are dead. There are a lot of stupid people out there. Why don't you just plot to maim all the stupid people in the world? That would be a better use of the time, methinks....^_^;;

WAAAAA!!!! *bounces around hyperactively, grinning like a loon* I'm going to Otakon! And I get to cosplay! I love my friends!
Although how they managed to keep me in the dark like they did is a mystery to me. Still....*returns to hyperactive bouncing*
Yeah. Trying to get anything coherent out of me for any length of time will be like.....thingy. Something very difficult to do. ^___^

Okay, so I am again blogging at an insanely late hour for a person who has to get up at 7:30 in the morning, but oh well. I've been working on this layout and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, all things considered. Of course, at the moment I'm the only person who's going to post there, but that will change quickly, I think.
Now that the layout is done, however, I think I'm going to attempt to call it quits for the night. I'm feeling like a real baka and I need to get to bed earlier so I don't fall asleep over Hamlet or other homework.

Always, always be careful around knives and other bladed things. It really hurts if you cut your finger. That said, I will end with the more or less random cautions, at least for this entry.
Not much has been happening lately. I've gone to work, found out that since they are over-staffed I will be unable to work the hours I need/want, and cut my finger trying to slice a french baguette. I've watched anime, including the Aa! Megami-sama movie, Bastard!!, and Bubblegum Crisis. I've read books. I've slept. As you can see, it's a more or less normal life at my house.
I get to go to the library tomorrow, and outings like that are going to make up the sole, well....entertainment I'm going to have for the rest of the summer, at least to the extent of my knowledge. Maybe I'll be able to catch a movie.
I miss school. Not the homework/classwork aspect, but the people aspect. It hasn't been very lively around here lately what with these two out of town along with other people. Heh, of course if they were here there's the distinct possibility that our work schedules would conflict so much that we'd never get to see each other. Ah well. ^_^
::looks at entry thusfar:: Eh, I spend too much time whining when I really have no right to. I think I'll go to bed now so I can get up early to do some serious school work. Have to start kicking butt in my class or I'll never get it done before the summer ends.

I think I've got my whole work mess resolved, which makes me feel better. Hopefully the channels of communication I feel are open actually are so there aren't any more miscommunications. I can't afford any more miscommunications.
On the student loan front, I need to have my dad's help with stuff. Stupid forms. I wish I didn't have to fill all them out, but I need the money too much to not fill them out. Hoping to get them done soon so I don't have to stress about things on that front at least.
Not much else happening in my life beyond work and more work. I had a lot of fun on the family vaction to Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor area, but now that that's over, there isn't much else to look forward to this summer beyond the normal fun things in everyday life (reading, web-design, chatting, re-watching anime, writing). I should keep busy until it's time to go back to school.

Well, I finally found the pictures I wanted to make a new layout with. ^_^ And I've made an interesting observation about the direction in which my layouts are going....I seem to be favoring either semi-obscure series, or obscure/minor characters from more well-known series. I mean, this layout features the parents of Van and Folken Fanel. Go figure. It doesn't mean I don't like it any less. In fact, it might actually make me like it more, simply because I doubt that anybody's made a layout with these pictures before.
Yeah, I'm weird. Deal with it. What else do you expect from a person who's listening to multiple versions of Butterfly from DDR while making layouts?
